When It's Right, You Just Know
Yoga Harmony began very organically with the seamless meeting of two hearts and minds. Over the last five years we have grown together as students, teachers, and friends.
In the fall of 2010, unbeknownst to each other, we shared a dream of opening a studio together. Some would say it was not by chance that at the very same time we both found ourselves at a crossroads. We recognized each other's strengths and desire for change.
At the end of day, we are just two silly (and occasionally funny...well, we make each other laugh) dog loving, raw food enthusiasts, locavore yogis that now have been blessed to share our dream with you!
Our hope is that you share your dreams, strengths, and seasons of change with us and those around you. You never know how person on the mat beside you might change your life forever!
Love and Harmony,
Heather and Nicole

We'd like to take a moment to give thanks to those who've inspired us, helped us grow, and without whom Yoga Harmony would simply not exist. To the teachers that inspired us, challenged us, and instilled in us the desire to create a warm, loving space - the lessons we learned will continue to guide us to become better each day. To our students, past, present, and future, we hope you receive half as much from us as we are blessed to receive from you. To those who turned our vision into reality, we thank you for making that reality so much more than our dream. To our friends and family who believed in us and gave us unconditional love and support, uh, we still need you!
Thank you for all you do!!

I took my first yoga class at age 12 but it wasn't until many, many years later that I had my "ahha moment"… in 2004 I took my first Hot Yoga class and I went from being a recreational yogi to being straight up hooked! It just made sense and everything changed inside and out. My over stretched and over worked muscles from a lifetime of ballet suddenly became more balanced and stronger. My over active (and over reactive) mind became calmer, after my first week I knew there was no going back. Upon moving back to Nashville from NYC in 2006 I hung up those pesky pointe shoes and I knew I was ready to start a new chapter in my life. I started teacher training and once again knew there was no going back….
Yoga Harmony is my gift from you, the students past, present, and future. I learn so much from each of you and I am overwhelmed with gratitude and humility that we have a place to make our own.
Many Blessings to you all,

I began practicing years ago, but it wasn't untll I commited to my practice that my life changed.
Being diagnosed with Charcot-Marie-Tooth, I was told my mucles will weaken. With a steady practice I continue to amaze my doctors as I just get stronger.
Yoga has taught me peace, balance, and the belief that anything is possible. It is my hope to share this with each one of you that bless us with your spirit. I am so grateful and amazed to have this opportunity. You are the inspiration and greatest gift of our dream.
Peace and Love,
Nicole

Many moons ago I started practicing yoga to quiet my racing mind, find peace within my wandering spirit and to become a healthier being.
Then I had a total hip replacement. Two weeks into my rehab I asked my phyical therapist if we could start incorporating yoga poses into our sessions. When the day came that I could sit in Lotus–they were shocked–and I cried.
I then realized that if I could do this–maybe I could help others find their own "Lotus" moment.
Namaste,
