• We all love to sweat, but we don't love each other's sweat.
  • Remove your shoes and socks at the door.
  • New students should arrive 20-30 minutes prior to class.
  • All students please remember that doors will be locked 3 minutes prior to class, arrive accordingly.
  • No cell phones allowed in the studio. All cells phone left in the lobby must be on mute, if not off. As much as you love your ringtone...
  • We trust you remember to wash your body and clothes, we hope you remember to wash your mat!
  • No perfume or scented lotions in the studio or in the locker rooms, please.
  • We live in a world filled with chatter, we practice in a studio free of chatter. Please honor our request of a silent studio space before, during, and after class. You can always chat it up in the lobby or locker rooms!
  • Please stay in the room...with so many demands on your time, commit to yourself by staying on your mat for the entire class.
  • While sweating out toxins helps us maintain our health, practicing while ill does more harm than good for you and those around you. See you when you're feeling better.
  • Your practice is a moving mediation. The teacher watches the clock so you can be free from the distraction. Please remove all watches/jewelry before entering the studio room.

  • Remember the Golden Rule.
  • There are others who would like to shower too.
  • Rental equipment is not a long-term loan.
  • Be kind to your fellow yogis...work and play well with others.
  • Change is good. "Your spot" taken? Find a new one.
  • As Momma said, "Go before you leave the house"...or, at least here before class starts.
  • Just like grade school, no chewing gum in class. Sorry.
  • Ask yourself, "Does this need to be said? Does this need to be said by me? Does this need to be said by me now?"
  • Smile....and don't run with scissors.

I've never done yoga...is this really for me?

Most of our classes are beginner friendly and our instructors will help new students by offering modifications, encouragement and support. You do not need any experience; you do not need to be "in shape"; you just need a willing mind and an open heart.

What if I'm not flexible?

Great news! You practice Yoga to stretch your body and spine in order to increase your flexibility and strength. This yoga attracts all shapes, sizes and fitness levels. Anyone can do it!

What if I have injuries or illnesses?

Please let the teacher know if you have any injuries, illnesses, or special conditions. You can still do most yoga postures, with a few modifications that the teacher will show you. But most of all, you go at your own pace as you are your own teacher.

Will Yoga help me lose weight?

There is no doubt that yoga can help you lose weight. Beyond the massive calorie burn of a hot yoga class, the true benefits for weight management come from a steady practice. Your practice brings balance, both inside and out, regulating all systems of body. Still curious about the calorie burn....click here.

What If I Feel Dizzy And Nauseous During Class?  Is That Normal?

First, don't be scared. There is a lot happening in you first few classes. You have to train your body to sweat efficiently to maintain your normal body temperature in the room. Do not worry, it will come soon. The most common reason is because you are not breathing efficiently.

What does Namaste mean?

Instructors commonly end class with the traditional acknowledgement of "Namaste" "Nama" means bow; "as" means I; and "te" means you. Therefore, Namasté literally means "bow me you" or "I bow to you." This gesture is a deep form of respect.
